Some Co-op City residents will soon have to find alternative parking spaces

Some Co-op City residents will soon have to find alternative parking spaces due to a garage construction project that has been going on for two years.

According to the Riverbay Management Corporation, construction on garages 2 and 7 will begin on Wednesday. They say residents who use the roof top levels of those garages will need to remove their cars from the parking spaces.

Riverbay officials say residents can find alternate spaces in the lower levels of the garages or park in the Green Way parking lot. The Green Way lot was built two years ago when the construction on the garages started.
