Fordham Prep?s hockey team loses two games in a row against Stepinac

Fordham Preps hockey team lost to Stepinac at Rye Playland, bringing the teams losing streak to two.

The Rams were up 2-1 in the second period. However, Stepinacs Dan Ahern tied the score up at two. Stepinac took the lead in the third, but Preps Joseph Namy pulled the Rams up to 3-3. The Rams had a penalty shot but Luke Malone shot too wide. Stepinac went on to win 5-3 making Fordham Prep lose two in a row.

The Rams recently protested an officials ruling to forfeit a game against Monsignor Farrell. Fordham was leading the game 3-1 when a fight broke out between the two teams. A decision is expected in a couple of days.
