Wolves and Jaguars battle for first place in final game of Bronx B Division hoops

The Wolves and Jaguars battled for first place in the final regular season game in the PSAL Bronx B Division Basketball. Both teams entered the game at 5-1, hoping to stay tied with Evander for first place.

The Wolves entered the 2nd quarter with a 9-8 lead, but the Jaguars quickly took a six-point lead thanks to the play of Edwin Sanderson.

With scoring by Clarence Lowrie, the Wolves came within two but could not hang on. The Jaguars went on to win 72-50, staying tied for first with Evander. The Wolves dropped to third.
