Father of kids who died in Kingsbridge fire plans to sue FDNY

A father who lost his kids in a fire in Kingsbridge the day after Thanksgiving is now planning to sue the FDNY.

Sam Sanclemente claims the fire department wasted valuable time responding to the blaze. The fire began in an apartment and was out of control when firefighters arrived. The victims' mother was able to escape, but both children never made it out.

According to Sanclemente, firefighters from the closest engine company were at a nursing home fire at the time of the blaze. He says the other closest engine company was responding to a false alarm.
