Bronx and city Catholic school teachers reject latest contract offer
Bronx and city Catholic school teachers have rejected another contract offer from the New York Archdiocese.
The unions representing the teachers turned down a one-year offer. A spokesperson for the union representing teachers at Cardinal Spellman and Cardinal Hayes said the contract does not offer enough. The teachers want a three-year deal with a salary increase and lower pension cap.
There's no word as to when both sides will resume talks.
