Bronx High School of Science scores big in the Intel science semifinals

Intel science semifinalists were announced Wednesday and the Bronx High School of Science scored big among schools across the city.

Out of 1,600 students nationwide, six teens from the Bronx High School of Science were selected as Intel semifinalists. It's the largest number of students from one school in the city.

The students will receive $1,000 in scholarship money and a chance to compete in the finals in Washington D.C. Intel also gives a matching $1,000 to the school.
