Bronx baseball pioneer voted into Latin American Sports Hall of Fame

A Bronx baseball pioneer was recently honored by being voted into the Latin American Sports Hall of Fame.

Julio Pabon, the founder and president of Latino Sports, joins a long list of Latin athletes, newscasters and politicians in the hall for their contributions to Latino sports. Pabon is also responsible for starting the Latino Sports MVP Award.

Pabon will be inducted Tuesday in Texas along with former baseball star Ramon Martinez.
