The Kennedy Knights were looking to clinch the division title against the Wildcats. Kennedy is undefeated in the Bronx West A Division and is three games ahead of Walton.

Kennedy just four games away from a perfect season showed why by controlling the first half of the game. In the third quarter, the Knights were up 46-31, but Walton would come back. Walton had a 9-0 run to end the third and took the lead in the fourth.

Continuing their onslaught, Walton's Teddy Ellis racked up 29 points and 15 rebounds to outscore Kennedy 28-15 in the fourth. Walton went on to win 68-61 to stay alive in the division race.
