Principal, two others charged in incident at Bronx Guild High School

A principal and school aid at Bronx Guild High School are accused of assaulting a safety officer, who was in the process of arresting a 16-year-old student.

Police say Principal Michael Siguero and school aid James Bergos attacked the officer. The officer was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital. Both Siguero and Bergos are charged with assault and obstructing governmental administration. The student is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Bronx Guild High School is a smaller school located inside Stevenson High School, which is on the list of the most dangerous schools in the Bronx.
