NYPD officer who bit into burger with glass in Hunts Point suing McDonald?s

A New York City police officer who bit into a Big Mac laced with glass in Hunts Point is suing McDonald?s and the 18-year-old cook who prepared his burger.

Officer John Florio says he stopped at the McDonald?s in January for a dinner break. Florio claims Albert Garcia intentionally laced his Big Mac with glass shards. Florio?s lawsuit also accused the fast-food chain and Bronx franchise of poorly supervising Garcia.

Florio is seeking more than $6 million for negligence, pain and suffering. Garcia has been charged with assault, reckless endangerment and weapons possession.
