Tenants living in the Patterson Houses in Mott Haven say NYPD is too aggressive

Some tenants living in the Patterson Houses in Mott Haven say the NYPD is too aggressive when patrolling the Operation Impact Zone.

Tenants say they are tired of being harassed and intimidated by cops patrolling the Patterson Houses. Some tenants say officers falsely accuse people of trespassing and loitering. The NYPD says more cops were assigned to the development after receiving complaints from residents that they wanted more officers.

Some tenants say they even met with police from the 40th Precinct to talk about their concerns. The NYPD says they never received any complaints.
