Manhattan College freshman named MAAC co-rookie of the week

For the eighth time this season, one Manhattan College freshman has earned the designation MAAC co-rookie of the week.

C.J Anderson is now just one rookie award behind Lionel Simmons for the MAAC all-time record. Anderson averaged 23 1/2 points, 7 1/2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 1/2 steals and 1 1/2 blocks in two Manhattan games last week.

Other awards went to Curtis Stinson, who was named Big 12 player of the week. The Iowa State sophomore averaged 22 1/2 points, 8 rebounds, 3 1/2 assists and 3 1/2 steals in wins over Kansas State and Kansas.
