Residents have chance to weigh in on plans for vacant lot in Kingsbridge

Residents have a chance to weigh in Tuesday on proposals for what to do with a vacant lot on W. 230 Street and Broadway.

Dozens of bids on what to do with the lot have been submitted. The local community board proposes building an EMS garage, while others have hopes of building a shopping mall. Currently, the proposed shopping center would include a movie theater and stores such as Bed, Bath and Beyond.

No final decisions have been made yet on what to do with the land.
