Bronx residents riding out latest winter blast

Bronx residents are riding out yet another snowstorm.

Forecasters say anywhere from three to six inches of snow will be on the ground when the storm ends. Bronx residents and the New York City Sanitation Department got ready all day Thursday preparing for the latest storm. Residents bought snow shovels while the sanitation department prepared their trucks.

The sanitation department is hiring temporary workers for the snow and ice removal. If you are interested and at least 18 years old call 311 for more information and the closest place to sign up.
