Manhattan Jaspers in a must win situation against St. Peter's to get a bye
The Manhattan Jaspers were in need of a win against St. Peter's if they wanted a bye. Both teams were tied at 9-8 in conference play.
The Jaspers jumped on the Peacocks early, taking a quick 5-0 lead. Jason Wingate scored a career high of 17. But the Peacocks, led by Keydren Clark, sparked a run to go up 15-3. Clark had 33 points in the game.
The Peacocks went on to win 85-64, The loss drops the Jaspers all the way to 6th in the MAAC. They'll play ninth seed Loyola in the first round.
