Police investigating the shooting of a man and his parents in Wakefield

Police are investigating a shooting in Wakefield that left a man and his parents wounded Wednesday morning.

Police say the shooting took place when the 29-year-old man got into a dispute with two men he knew. According to police, the man's parents came down from the second floor of 43-83 Byron Avenue during the dispute and that's when one of the suspects fired several shots. The suspects then fled the scene.

The 29-year-old and his mother were struck in the abdomen and the father was hit in the lower back. All three victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center and are listed in stable condition.

No arrests have yet been made.
