Office to help new business owners and the unemployed to open in Hunts Point

A new office to help potential business owners and those looking for a job is set to open soon in Hunts Point.

The office will train perspective employees and teach potential business owners how to get the loans they need as well as develop a business plan. Officials say helping people start up businesses will only help the Bronx thrive.

In addition to the new office, the city is holding a series of seminars on small business initiatives, one of which was held Thursday. Anyone interested in starting a small business can log onto the New York City Web site or call 311
