National Guard soldiers return to the Bronx after 15-month active duty tour

Monday night is the first night home in the Bronx for dozens of National Guard soldiers. The soldiers of Battery C, First Battalion 258th Field Artillery arrived in New York City by bus after a 15-month active duty tour, which included nine months in Iraq. Some of these returning soldiers have the distinction of being among the only military personnel to have served both at Ground Zero on September 11th and in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
