Bronx residents celebrate Easter with church services and song

Bronx Christians joined with millions to celebrate Easter with church services and singing.

The Fordham Manor Reformed Church held their service at Walton High School to accommodate all of the additional people coming to the Easter service. Other congregations celebrated with song and scripture like at Saint Barnabas Rectory. Pastor Irving Rivera of Fordham Manor Reformed Church says this is the highlight of the year for him.

This was third year the Fordham Manor Reformed Church has held services at the high school. Members say plans are in the works to add onto the church in order to accommodate all members.
