Bronx resident Francisco Garcia headed to the NCAA Final Four
Francisco Garcia is going to the Final Four. The Louisville junior will become the first Bronx resident to play for the NCAA national title since Heshimu Evans played with Kentucky seven years ago. Bronx resident Shegari Alleyne had a chance to join Garcia in the Final Four, but Kentucky was beaten by Michigan State Sunday night in double overtime. Garcia also received some good news off the court when he was named to the 2005 Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American Team.
