Monroe Eagles look for another city title with a new cast of characters

The PSAL baseball league season is getting underway this week, and the defending champion Monroe Eagles are out to win another city title. But they'll be trying to win with a new cast of characters. Three starters from last year; Danny Almonte, Angelo Lora and Luis Rosado have all left the team. Add in Rocky Torres, who moved to Florida, and the Eagles lose about 35 wins from a year ago. The team will also be playing the entire season on the road because their field is being renovated. Head Coach Mike Turo says all that doesn?t matter. He says he still expects success.
