Five Bronx students named to New York Post Catholic League All-City Teams

The honors keep coming for Bronx residents in high school basketball. Five students have been named to the New York Post Catholic League All-City Teams. Curtis Kelly was named Player of the Year. The high school junior averaged 22 points and nine rebounds. Chris Bethel was named to First Team All-City. The St. Raymond?s senior averaged 15 points and eight boards a game. Bethel's teammate Ricky Torres was named Second Team All-City. The senior was second in the Catholic League in scoring at almost 19 points a game. Also named to Second Team All-City was Edgar Sosa from Rice High School. The junior has been the model of consistency for the Raiders at the point this year. Daryl Crawford from All Hallows High School was named Third Team All-City. The junior averaged 18.7 points a game.
