Hundreds of West Farms residents could be in danger of losing their homes

Hundreds of Bronx tenants could be in danger of losing their affordable housing and many say they're going to fight to keep costs down. Residents at the West Farms Neighborhood Housing Development say they received a letter stating that the building owner may not renew a contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development that allows affordable housing. The owner of the development could not be reached for comment. Several Bronx politicians, however, have pledged their support for the tenants.
