Two Bronx residents inducted into the CHSAA League Hall of Fame

Two legendary Bronx coaches were inducted into the CHSAA League Hall of Fame this weekend.

The 20th annual Hall of Fame dinner was held in Westchester County. Bronx resident Mount St. Michael football coach Mario Valentini was inducted into the Hall of Fame after 26 seasons. The late baseball coach and Bronx resident Doug Faul was inducted as well. Faul's nephew accepted on his behalf and spoke for the family.

St. Ray's head coach Oliver Antigua and his brother Orlando, the Pittsburgh University assistant coach and CHSAA Hall of Famer and Cardinal Hayes legend Tom Murray were among those in attendance to welcome the Class of 2005.
