Some residents not satisfied with renovations at Parkchester condominiums

After nearly 10 years and $200 million, construction at the Parkchester North condominiums is complete. Residents, however, have mixed reactions about the final product. Renovations include new windows, electric wiring and plumbing. Some residents say for the amount of time and money it cost to fix the complex, they expected better results. The Parkchester development was built in the late 1930's with wiring too weak to run modern appliances. But now more than 12,000 apartments have been rewired to support today's technology.
