Teachers claim officials at John F. Kennedy H.S. altered Regents test scores
Education officials say they are investigating a claim that administrators at John F. Kennedy High School may have doctored some Regents test scores. Teachers claim two assistant principals, with the backing of the principal, increased more than a dozen students' scores by as many as 11 points. The principal said the accusations are false. A spokesperson for the Department of Education said they take allegations of cheating very seriously and are investigating the situation.
