Bloomberg kicks of re-election campaign with television ads targeting Latino voters
Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R-NY) is targeting Latino voters with the first television advertisements of his re-election campaign, which feature the mayor speaking entirely in Spanish. Bloomberg officially kicked of his campaign Wednesday with the ads airing on Spanish airways. The mayor is also getting ready to release a 10-day $1 million campaign in English. A recent Quinnipiac University poll showed just 30 percent of Hispanic voters approved of the job Bloomberg is doing, while 54 percent of Caucasian voters approved.
