Bronx filmmaker begins latest documentary on Hollywood Avenue

One Bronx man is trying to make his mark on the big screen and behind the scenes. Tishin Padilla filmed a documentary of himself traveling across the country and had to overcome some extreme obstacles, including homelessness and lack of funds in order to produce the film.Padilla started his journey on Hollywood Avenue in the Bronx. He then traveled 25,000 miles, visited more than 70 cities and spent $20,000 to make an hour-long documentary that he says could be destined to make it to the big screen. Padilla has already won a Film Festival award in New York and Las Vegas for past films.
