Fans from across the country come to the Bronx for annual stickball game
People from across the country are heading to the Bronx for the annual New York Emperors Stickball Classic on Memorial Day weekend.
The annual tournament is played with a rubber ball and no baseball mitts. The tournament has been bringing players together since 1985. This year?s tournament is dedicated to the founders of the league. One player said every year the game brings back fond memories. The annual tournament brings players in from Florida, California and even as far as Puerto Rico.
The championship game is on Memorial Day. A children?s stickball game Sunday morning is open to anyone between the ages 6 to 11.
