First annual Fordham Car Show rolls into the Bronx

The first annual Fordham Car Show and Competition rolled into the Bronx Sunday.

Almost 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles were present. A 1969 GT Mustang won several awards and was showcased in a Ford commercial last year. The vehicles were divided up into 22 groups, categorized by year, make and model. The top three places in each group were given awards.

The 48th Precinct Community Council in the Bronx hosted the event at Fordham University as part of a fundraiser. The council works to make sure Bronx residents maintain a good relationship with police officers.
