More than 100 firefighters battle four-alarm blaze in BX warehouse on Walton Ave.

More than 100 firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze in a Bronx warehouse on Walton Avenue in the Hub Monday night.

Fire officials say firefighters worked overnight to get the fire under control. Those fighting the blaze say when they arrived on the scene, the flames spread quickly. Firefighters say they were able to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby businesses.

The owner of the moving and storage company in the building says the structure is destroyed. Officials say five firefighters and one other person were treated for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
