Bronx families learn how to plan for the future at ?Making the Grade? conference

Parents and students attended ?Making the Grade? conference Saturday to help them make the right decisions for their future.

Many Bronx parents say there are so many choices, that the education process can get a little overwhelming. Educators say parents should research colleges and what they expect of students as soon as possible. If parents are worried over money, educators say parents should also apply for financial aid as soon as students begin their senior year of high school.

The group New Visions for Public Schools held the conference. The organization is geared towards creating opportunities for students at public schools.
