Health experts offer tips for Bronx residents trying to beat the heat

With temperatures close to 100 degrees, a heat advisory is in place for the Bronx and city Tuesday. To beat the heat, health experts are advising Bronx residents to stay indoors and out of the sun. Anyone who must go out is advised to wear sunscreen and a hat. Residents are urged to drink plenty of fluids and avoid strenuous exercise outside. Relief is on the way, however, with a cool down expected later this week. Related link NYC Office of Emergency Management
