Bronx community leaders feel quality of life slowly improving

According to surveys by the group Citizens for New York City, many Bronx community leaders feel the quality of life is slowly improving.

However, the group also found that there are still many problems plaguing the Bronx. Most community leaders agree that drug activity, vandalism and graffiti are the biggest problems in the Bronx. Some residents feel that potholes and dirty streets continue to threaten the quality of life.

Despite the negatives, Citizens for New York City says air is cleaner and less smoggy because the city and residents care about their neighborhoods.
