Bronx community center closing its doors leaving hundreds without jobs
Hundreds of workers will soon be without a job as the Gloria Wise Community Center gets set to close its doors.
The community center has been serving the Bronx for decades but is being forced to close due to funding cuts. The city pulled more than $17 million in funding after an investigation, which led to the resignation of the center's former executive director.
Parents and seniors are now scrambling to make other arrangements since the center is set to close in less than a week.
