Bronx woman accused of trespassing in her own home back in court

A Bronx woman who has been in and out of court since 2003 on criminal trespassing charges was in court Monday.

Juanita Young is accused of trespassing in the apartment she was evicted from. She has been before a judge 16 times in two years and once again had her case postponed Monday. The Bronx district attorney's office claims Young was evicted for failing to pay rent. Young believes her involvement in speaking out about police brutality led to her eviction.

The DA did make an offer to Young, but her lawyer rejected it.
