Two Bronx hoops stars make it to the NBA

Two Bronx hoops stars made it to the big stage Tuesday.

St. Raymond?s Julius Hodge and former Taft star Francisco Garica were picked in the first round of the NBA draft. Hodge was picked at number 20 by the Denver Nuggets. The Sacramento Kings grabbed Garica at number 23.

Meanwhile, former Fordham star William Parker is a free agent looking for a home next season. This past season he played 11 games with the Pistons and five games with the Suns after signing a 10-day contract with both teams. Parker says his agent is currently talking to several teams for next season.
