Bronx residents hope land improvement will sail into waterfronts

Some Bronx landmarks, like Yankees Stadium and the Bronx Terminal Market, are scheduled for improvements, that residents hope will drip down to the borough?s waterfront.

Currently, the Harlem River Waterfront is considered more of a trash dump than a recreational park ground. In the future, Bronx residents hope to see the waters filled with boats and people swimming, not piles of trash.

The plans for Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Terminal Market include improvements to borough parks. The scheduled improvements along the river are set to be completed after the new Yankees Stadium is complete.
