Fulton Fish Market postpones its castoff to the Bronx

The Fulton Fish Market?s net continues to become tangled and the multiple stores? move from Manhattan to the Bronx remains anchored for yet another month.

Contractors say the vendors will pack their bags Friday night and in one weekend be ready to lure customers in with the smells of fresh fish by Monday morning.

Along with fresh salmon and shark fins, the billion dollar project is also bringing more than 600 jobs to the Bronx. This hefty budget will also give fish mongers a top of the line refrigeration facility that meets food and safety standards.
