Former Cardinal Spellman basketball stars give back to their alma mater

Two former Cardinal Spellman basketball stars are giving back to their alma mater.

O?Neil Johnson and Leon Martinez spent this summer working at the Spellman basketball camp. Both players say they enjoy working with the kids to teach them basketball skills. They also say they like to give back to their school.Both played for Fred Opper on the 1998 team that played in the Catholic League City Championship game. Johnson is currently working on his associate?s degree in Westchester. Martinez graduated from Concordia College and hopes to play with a pro team overseas.
