Bronx campers score big with a visit from former WNBA player

Campers at the 5th annual Jim Lewis Basketball Camp received a special treat Wednesday and it wasn?t cookies. The campers got a visit from former New York Liberty Captain Kym Hampton.

Hampton talked to the campers for 30 minutes about motivation and self-determination. The former pro-ball player also gave the starry-eyed kids advice on what it takes to become a professional athlete. After learning what they need to succeed, the kids said they were impressed with the ex-WNBA player.

The kids scored big when Hampton stuck around to sign autographs.
