Three Bronx football stars head to college training camps

Three Bronx football stars are gearing up to head to college training camps next week.

John F. Kennedy?s Lawrence Rolle was the New York City defensive captain at the Empire Challenge last week. He is headed for Long Island to play for Division II C.W. Post. Rolle will play defense for the Pioneers.

Perry Myers of Cardinal Hayes will play defense at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Mount Saint Michael?s Shawn Lewis will take his college career south. He will be attending Barrie University in Miami.

Meanwhile, Fordham?s football training camp is set to open Wednesday. While Maritime College will kick off its first-ever training camp August 24.
