Bronx?s Gloria Wise Community Center faces trouble yet again

The Gloria Wise Community Center is facing trouble again after one of its sponsors, the National Boys and Girls Club, threatened to revoke its membership.

The non-profit organization, which offers community programs for every age group, was shut down six weeks ago during an audit investigation. The center was accused of mis-managing its $20 million annual budget.

Since the audit some programs have reopened but may have to close their doors again after the latest trouble facing the center. The center also faces another allegation that the former Executive Director Charles Rosen loaned more than $800,000 to radio station Air America.Related Story
