Bronx boxers roll with the punches at the Broadway Boxing Series

Three Bronx fighters tried punching their way to the top during the Broadway Boxing Series at the Manhattan Center.

Bronx favorite Emmanuel Clottey faced off against Marteze Logan in the junior welterweight division. Clottey came into the fight at 22 and 6 with 14 knockouts. Clottey kept swinging with the punches but was never able to knockout Logan for a 15th. Although Logan was still standing at the end, Clottey was awarded the unanimous decision.

Another Bronx winner was Pat Nwamu who battled it out with Hino Ehikhamenor for the New York State Cruiserweight Championship. Nwamu started the fight at 10 and 1 with three knockouts. By the end of the fight, Nwamu was 11 and 1.

The final Bronx fighter to enter the ring was Gabriel Garcia. Garcia made his pro debut against Ireland?s James Moore in the junior middleweight division. Garcia was knocked out in the second round.
