Power outage leaves hundreds of Bronx residents in the dark

A power outage that began early Thursday has left hundreds of Bronx residents in the dark.

The outage began around 1:30 a.m. and affected almost 30 buildings between 183rd and 184th street on Tiebout Avenue. ConEd crews are working on restoring the power.

Some Bronx residents are complaining that this is a recurring problem. But ConEd attributes the outage to a feeder problem and is making permanent fixes to ensure it does not happen again.
