Flooding in Mott Haven has some looking to move elsewhere

Heavy rainstorms Sunday flooded out four apartments at the Patterson Houses, and residents left homeless for a night say it?s not the first time flooding has occurred.

The tenants on 141st Street and Third Avenue say the first floor of the complex is prone to flooding when it rains. Some residents say they are still trying to recover from floods that happened a year ago and want to transfer out of the building.

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) was on the scene vacuuming up the water. NYCHA says it is investigating the situation.
