Bronx football stars spend a night with the New York Jets

Some Bronx football stars spent a night with the New York Jets Wednesday.

More than 40 PSAL football team captains were invited to watch the New York Jets practice at Hofstra University on Long Island. Jets players hand-picked the players from the Bronx and the rest of the city to sit on the sidelines during the practice. The Bronx players say they were thrilled to get close to the pros.

The Bronx players were invited as part of the Jets? Heads Up program. Through the program, the Jets donated $100,000 to recondition all of the helmets used by PSAL football players.
