Catholic teachers do more than pray to increase Bronx catholic school enrollment

The Federation of Catholic Teachers put together 30-second commercials to encourage Bronx parents to enroll their children in Catholic schools.

Across the borough, Catholic schools say their enrollment is down. The group put together advertisements promoting Catholic education in an effort to help solve this problem. According to the ads, 99 percent of catholic school students graduate from high school and 95 percent are accepted into college.

The commercials, which began airing Monday, cost the union around $25,000 to produce.
