Bronx residents eligible for food stamps may be going hungry

Advocates for the poor say it?s the third decline in four months and they are blaming Mayor Bloomberg?s (R-NY) administration. The advocates reportedly say there are too many obstacles in the application process and that keeps Bronx residents from enrolling in the program. In response to the criticism, Bloomberg says he supports shortening the application to two pages.
