Ceiling collapse at Bronx apartment injures one, forces multiple evacuations

A ceiling collapse at a Bronx apartment Wednesday injured one woman and forced multiple evacuations. The collapse at an East Tremont building also exposed other problems. Investigators issued at least six violations and evacuated two apartments. They say more could be issued in the coming days. City officials say all residents could be forced out if the landlord doesn't take action. Residents, however, say citations may not be enough and that violations haven't motivated the landlord to make any repairs in the past.
